Prasidium is a derivative of the Latin word ‘protection’ and we are a business, the core focus of which, is on best practice credit insurance broking to protect our clients’ profitability.

Our logo being the open shield reflects the nature of our business – The shield providing protection, while the openness reflects the ability for trade growth. Prasidiums business is underpinned by its four partners- Mark Smith, Stuart Prendergast, Mark Browning and Paul Daniele. With over 60 years combined credit insurance experience, we understand no two businesses are alike in regards to their credit risks profile and as such, a credit insurance policy cannot be a one size fits all.

Mark Smith
Bringing over 20 years of sales and management experience in a wide variety of industry, allows Mark to utilise these skills to obtain the most cost effective premiums for clients. Having previously owned businesses gives a unique insight and understanding to the challenges faced by businesses which truly allows negotiating the right product for clients.
Having found his passion over the last 10 years in credit insurance, Mark partners with clients to add real value to their business in not only protecting against loss, but providing a sustainable business process to manage credit risk effectively and increase sales.
Stuart Prendergast
A founding partner at Prasidium, Stuart Prendergast specialises in strategic risk management and consulting with clients to increase their market share, profitability and protection of their bottom line.
With over 20 years experience in credit insurance broking, working with SME’s to ASX listed companies across a broad spectrum of industries, Stuart has built a reputation for developing innovative solutions for clients to effectively manage their credit risk.
Mark Browning
Mark Browning joined the Prasidium management team in 2017. He brings to table some 20 years trade credit broking experience having held senior positions within both international and local broking firms.
His technical knowledge and innovative thought process in tailoring risk transfer solutions to his key clients is what sets him above his competitors.
Mark has a proven track record in delivering successful outcomes for our clients by protecting their business against the threat of loss and boosting their confidence to drive their sales growth.
Paul Daniele
Paul Daniele joined the Prasidium management team following over 10 years in key senior roles within global insurer Atradius and prior this with QBE.
He provides strong working knowledge and technical know-how of trade credit and related risk products. His underwriting experience across a broad range of sectors and exposure to non-core trade risks enables him to tailor solutions which others simply cannot.
Paul has a proven track record in developing the credit insurance brand and delivering successful outcomes for our clients.
